JOB DESCRIPTION – SALES MANAGER – PORTUGAL
Today composed by 32 coworkers, Helexia is a young profitable company created in 2010, positioned in the market as Integrator, Investor and Operator of decentralized PV energy production units and Energy Efficiency Projects with/for industrial and commercial buildings owners, to assist them in to the route to « positive energy buildings ».

Backed by a strong and long-term shareholder Helexia is Headquarted in France and present in Belgium, Italy, Portugal and Switzerland, has already commissioned 120+ PV plants on rooftops for a total of 28+MW, and has the ambition to become a leading player in the field of decentralized energy production buildings and Energy Efficiency projects.

As Sales Manager, Portugal, you will be responsible for the expansion and management of Helexia’s customer base, with a specific focus in selling Helexia’s Energy Services to small and medium enterprises, as well as to large customers with national CO2 footprint.
In the role of Sales Manager, Portugal you will be responsible for finding new customers and sell Helexia’s value proposition which includes Auto-Consumption PV projects and Energy Efficiency solutions, providing green energy and efficient and reduced CO2 footprint to the building owners and operators.
To succeed in this role, you must possess a hunting-attitude and a natural selling and relationship-oriented approach, with good international communication and contract-closing skills.
Thanks to your perseverance, you overcome the difficulties, identify your customer’s needs, alleviate his pains, and effectively build up a long-term partnership with him, being the single point of contact and interface towards Helexia’s engineering and operations teams.
To develop the projects portfolio and customers database, and achieve the signing of a significant number of quality projects, for this purpose the Essential Duties and Responsibilities are as follow :[ul type=”arrow” indent=”false” separator=”|”]Develop a portfolio of new clients|Proactively identify, sell and close PV and EE projects (NDA’s, LOI’s, PPA’s, OL’s)|Connection/interaction with developers and prescribers (architects, general contractors…)|Develop strategic relationships with clients.|Drive robust sales forecasting for designated customer bases|Regular follow up on clients’ needs and support them on the A to Z process of auto-consumption and EE projects integration|Cooperate with all Helexia team members (technical, research, legal, finance)|Attentively monitoring PV and EE market and related constant evolving regulations.|Customer loyalty[/ul]
GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR THE POSITION
As Sales Manager, you will be based in Lisbon, reporting to the Country Director Portugal.
You will be in close relation with building owners and operators, in which we could install PV projects or perform Energy Efficiency projects, as such you’ll be inner travelling up to 60% of time, eventually also abroad to other Helexia market presences.
The function requires both very good interpersonal skills, listening and negotiation skills.
It also requires to be very rigorous in monitoring records, organizational and writing skills (reports, progress notes, scheduling…).
You master the techniques of prospecting and Identifying potential customers, detect their expectations and needs. You know how to work independently within the framework of objectives. You share information in an open, structured and synthetic form with colleagues.
You are curious and possess a good knowledge on the building market and the commercial and industrial real estate. You have a successful track record in the areas of building, energy efficiency and photovoltaic business, you like to listen but also convince.
You will work in an entrepreneurial project and in an evolving industry and engage on the long-term and significant growth perspective of your position, within the company framework.
